Study: How Whiteboards Helped the Lehigh Valley Health Network
Fri Sep 11 2015By: Doug Weeks
This morning, I stumbled across this great study by nurses from the Lehigh Valley Health Network, who implemented communication whiteboards to see if the tools would improve patient communication.
According to the study, 1073 whiteboards were installed in the Lehigh Valley Health Network with 12 templates that fit the needs of different units. After the study was conducted, 50% or more were satisfied with the explanation of their plain of care for each shift.
