Has October been a crazy month for you? Have you forgotten to grab yourself a costume for Halloween weekend? There is no need to worry; Magnatag has got you covered. We’ve spent some time brainstorming easy, do-it-yourself costume ideas, so you don’t have to! Scroll down below for all the details including: what you’ll need to make the costume, how to put it together, and a photo of the finished product!
Facebook Wall
What you’ll need:
- White t-shirt
- Blue hat/ scarf
- Dry erase surface
- Print out of your Facebook profile
- Tape
This costume is a great interactive option that will ensure you are the life of the party. Start by screen-capping and the top third of your Facebook profile; be sure to leave out your timeline and only capture items like your profile picture, personal info etc. After you have completed this step, you are free to print the image out and proceed to tape it to the front of your t-shirt. All that’s left is to do is strap the dry erase surface to the front of your shirt. Invite fellow party guests to “write on your wall”, for an easy conversation piece at any Halloween party you attend this year.
Football Coach
What you’ll need:
- Athletic attire
- Headset
- Dry erase surface
You are bound to see a few people parading around the streets on Halloween weekend sporting this getup. The best part about his costume is that it is relatively easy to set up. Just dress in some sort of athletic apparel and be sure to have a headset handy. Once you have assembled those materials, you will be ready to channel your inner John Gruden and head to the drawing board. Be sure to illustrate your favorite play on your portable dry erase surface (we here at Magnatag are partial to Spider 2-Y Banana), and you are all set!
Camp Counselor
What you’ll need:
- Collared Shirt
- Shorts
- Sunglasses
- Dry erase surface
Have you ever seen
Wet Hot American Summer or
Heavyweights? This Halloween you can join in on the summer camp fun and become a camp counselor of your own! This ensemble is simple enough to put together, but the whiteboard adds a touch of authenticity to the costume. Add a list of campers or other partygoers to your whiteboard as your night continues, perhaps collecting an archive along the way. In this display we used our whiteboard to put together a makeshift schedule for the camper
We hope this list can help you start your Halloween weekend off on the right foot. For all your dry erase and office supply needs, visit
